Assistant Manager – FP&A

The Hongkong Finance team strives to support the Country Business team to achieve its strategic goals, projects, and business results. Hongkong business is growing very fast, and it is necessary to create an internal FP&A function under the Senior Manager – Finance to support the country manage the growth and participate in the financial system change management. To do that there is a need for an Assistant Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis for the country to strengthen the internal financial reporting and analyse business performance of the country. He/she will liaise with the local and Regional/ HQ teams, as required, to ensure completeness of reporting and help resolve issues if any. He/she will work closely with the Regional FP&A team for multiple business analysis, monthly reporting/budgets etc. Deeper understanding of business performance is a critical area for this individual. He/she will support the local/regional finance team in SAP implementation and other projects that are required from time to time.

Your Tasks

 

Work with the local finance team to clearly explain the trends and causes of financial performance.
Create a regular rhythm with the Regional FP&A team to implement reporting requirements and providing business insights/overviews for the region and country leadership teams.
Work with Regional Finance on reporting requirements including budgeting/forecasts.
Maintain top customer revenue and profit monthly report for the country.
Bring about a deeper understanding of business, P&L, revenue, product etc.
Provide regular insights and tracking of key business drivers like reported volumes, product profitability, business lanes.
Work with the Global project team, regional office, Senior Manager Finance for SAP implementation of the Hongkong.

Help in automation of processes and improving financial reporting and analysis processes.

 

 

 

Your Profile

 

Degree in Finance/Accounting or others analytical field, CPA or equivalent professional is preferred.
5 + years of working experience in related field, experience of working cross-culturally in an international environment, able to work with internal and external customers globally preferred.
Familiarity with SAP/Oracle or similar ERP. System implementation experience will be advantageous.
Experience in analytical-focused business role with industry experience on the e-commerce parcels and mail delivery business will be beneficial.
Advance Excel user and experience in other database programs such Access will be beneficial.
Senior stakeholder management.
Excellent communication, influencing, negotiating, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
