United States Postal Service (USPS) wishes to inform the designated operators of UPU member countries that Hurricane Michael made landfall on Wednesday, 10 October 2018 in the Florida Panhandle, bringing destructive winds, dangerous storm surges and flash flooding. Operations have been disrupted in some areas.
USPS is continuing to monitor the storm as it moves inland, and its top priority is the safety of its customers and employees. Some post offices have suspended operations, mainly in the areas with postcodes ranging from 32300 to 32499. Deliveries and other services in the region will also be affected.
