Australia Post asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, since 28 November 2018, an extreme weather event has been disrupting collection and delivery of all classes of mail in New South Wales for all postcodes starting with 2.
Very heavy rains in Sydney are affecting:
- Australia Post transport and delivery, owing to flooded roads;
- Australia Post processing, as mail cannot be transported to/from the sorting facilities, delivery centres or airport;
- airport operations, with significant take-off/landing delays at Sydney airport.
